I’ve seen plenty of apps saying you can play games and earn real money. Some work, others don’t – that’s just how mobile apps are. The EarnX app says it pays you to play games. You might wonder if it’s different from other gaming apps out there.
I tested EarnX myself and wrote down everything I found. This review shows you what EarnX does, how it works, and if it’s worth downloading.
After reading this, you’ll know exactly what to expect before installing the app.
What is EarnX?
EarnX works as a GPT (Get-Paid-To) app where you earn money playing games and doing tasks. The app pays real rewards to users.
Money-making apps need more than just legitimacy to be worth using. You’ll want to understand exactly how EarnX operates before spending time on it. The amount of effort needed versus potential earnings makes all the difference.

Now for the specific ways to earn with EarnX…
Playing games on EarnX
The app puts two types of games in front of you – Playtime and Pubscale. Pick Playtime first. That’s your best bet for unlocking more ways to earn.
Downloaded games pop up in your “My Games” section. Big thing to remember – you’ve gotta launch them from there. Otherwise, EarnX can’t track what you’re doing, and you won’t get your coins.
The games come with tasks. Complete a task, get coins – simple as that. You’ll spend most of your time leveling up characters or beating levels. Takes a while, but that’s just how it works.
Done with all the tasks? Got your coins? Move on and grab another game. You won’t earn anything more from the old one, so might as well clear up some space on your phone.
There’s always a bunch of new games waiting. They’re mostly puzzle games – y’know, the kind where you match stuff or solve simple problems. Nothing too complicated.
Paid offers
You’ll see extra tasks in the app once you complete game challenges. These tasks show up in something called offerwalls – they’re just lists of different jobs you can do for rewards.
What tasks will you do? You’ll answer surveys, create accounts on websites, and download apps to your phone. Each task has specific instructions. You need to follow every single step, or you won’t get your reward.
You get coins each time you finish a task. (More about what to do with those coins later). There aren’t many tasks available at once, which means you won’t earn as much from this option.

- Freecash – features various tasks on their offerwall
Referral program
You can earn extra coins by inviting other people to EarnX. This works through your personal referral link – you share it with someone, and when they use it to join EarnX, they become your referral.
Your earnings start after your referral completes a task from the featured games. You’ll receive 4,000 coins for this achievement, while your referral gets 2,000 coins as a welcome bonus.
The rewards don’t stop there. You’ll receive a 5% commission on everything your referrals earn from paid offers and game tasks. This percentage increases when you reach higher tiers in the referral program.
Moving up to the next tier requires getting more than 600 referrals. This number makes it pretty tough to advance, which matters since EarnX isn’t the best option out there – I’ll explain more about that soon.

Getting paid with EarnX
EarnX rewards your activities with coins. You can convert these coins directly to cash using PayPal or Payeer.
The conversion rate works this way:
- PayPal: 8,300 coins = $1
- Payeer: 8,500 coins = $1
The payout system runs smoothly with these straightforward requirements. You won’t wait long to access your earnings since the threshold stays relatively low. Other sites with similar quick payment options include the fastest-paying sites available.
The payment process cuts out any confusion – you earn coins, reach the minimum, and cash out through your chosen payment method.
How much can you earn on EarnX?
The earnings on EarnX aren’t great. Each featured game pays out between 2,000 and 4,000 coins. When you convert those coins to actual money, you’ll end up with less than 50 cents.
And here’s what you’ll spend to get those coins: several hours playing each game. That’s a lot of gaming time for just half a dollar.
The numbers speak for themselves – you won’t earn much on this app. Other reward apps will give you better value for your time.
Who can join EarnX?
The app works worldwide. You can sign up from any country.
You need to install the app first. When you open it for the first time, you’ll sign in with your Google account – that’s your only option. This won’t be an issue if you use Android, since you already have a Google account.
Once you sign in, you can start using the app.
How does EarnX work on different devices?
You can’t use EarnX on your computer – it’s just for phones. And here’s what you need to know: it only works if you’ve got an Android phone. If you’re using an iPhone, you won’t be able to download it.
The app’s easy to figure out once you start using it. You’ll see some ads, but not many… and they don’t get in the way when you’re trying to do stuff on the app.
Advantages and Disadvantages of EarnX app
EarnX comes with both advantages and limitations. Let’s look at what works well:
Advantages
- You can join EarnX from most countries worldwide. The minimum withdrawal starts at just $1 for PayPal – making it easy to access your earnings quickly.
- EarnX gives you different ways to earn money. You earn by watching videos, clicking advertisements, and completing promotional offers.
- The payment options work smoothly. You choose between PayPal, FaucetPay, or Dogecoin for your earnings. The minimum cash-out starts at only €0.50.
- The platform includes several oferwalls – these are special sections with extra tasks you can complete for additional earnings. Each oferwall contains different opportunities to increase your income.
Disadvantages
- You’ll need to click around 1500 ads to earn just 1 euro (that’s about 5 hours of work)
- PayPal withdrawals cost you 10% in fees – the highest rate among similar platforms
- YouTube watching pays only 0.003€ for each 35-second video
- Creating promotional YouTube content pays a tiny 0.20€ per video
- The interface shows random pop-up ads while you’re trying to navigate menus
- Ads interrupt your work constantly
EarnX doesn’t live up to the hype
EarnX works as a mobile app – I tested it myself. You play games and finish different tasks to earn money. And yes, they do pay out what they promise.
The money you get isn’t worth your time though. Each task pays so little that even with their low cash-out minimum, you’ll spend ages trying to reach it. I noticed this right away when I started using the app.
You’d do much better with other apps and websites that pay more for your time. For example, I’ve tested GG2U (a survey and task website), and it pays much faster through PayPal.
I always write honest reviews based on what I find – and this one’s simple: EarnX works, but it’s not your best choice for making money online.
