You’re probably wondering about this website called Tandemz… (yeah, I checked it out myself). They say you’ll earn rewards when you test websites and products for free.

Well, I spent some time investigating whether this thing actually pays or if it’s just another waste of time. I’ll share what happened during my tests – the good stuff and the not-so-good parts.

Stick with me… because after trying it myself, I found out exactly what you should expect (trust me, you’ll want to know this before signing up).

I’m about to tell you if spending your time on Tandemz makes any sense. You know what I mean? The real story, based on my actual experience using it.

Quick heads up – this isn’t sponsored or anything. Just my honest review after testing websites and products for free on their platform.

What is Tandemz, and how do you make money with it?

Testing websites and products for free is actually a real way to earn some cash through Tandemz.

You see, this site pays people like you and me to check out different websites and products, then share what we think about them. Pretty simple stuff, right?

Now I’ve actually looked into this (since earning money online interests me too), and while Tandemz definitely pays real money… there’s something you should know about the time investment.

Before you jump in, let me walk you through exactly how it works. This way, you’ll know if it’s worth spending your time on. After all, your time is valuable!

The main thing you’ll be doing is testing out websites and products, then giving your honest thoughts about them. That’s literally it – no complicated stuff involved.

(And trust me, I know how confusing some of these online earning sites can be…)

You might be wondering about the actual process… let me explain that next.

Make money testing websites and products

Testing opportunities with Tandemz work in a pretty simple way. After joining as a tester, you’ll get emails about different testing chances, and you can also check what’s available when you log into your account.

Test websites and products through online or face-to-face studies and get rewards for your feedback
You can make money by testing websites and products through online or face-to-face studies.

There are two main ways to test stuff. You can either do it online from home (which happens more often but pays less), or sometimes they might ask you to visit a specific place to do the testing in person.

Just so you know… you might never get asked to do in-person testing. It really depends on where you live.

The timing is important with these tests. When they send you an invite, they’ll tell you exactly when the test needs to happen. You’ll want to double-check if you’re free during that specific time before saying yes.

But wait – there’s another type of testing that’s much more flexible. You can do these whenever you want, which is perfect if you have a busy schedule. These usually involve trying out products or answering some questions about them.

Here’s something interesting about product testing: if they ask you to test a physical product, they’ll mail it to you. And if you need to buy something for the test? Don’t worry – they’ll pay you back for it.

Speaking of payment… they’ll always tell you upfront how much you’ll earn for each test. Once you finish everything they asked for, that’s when you get paid.

I should mention something about my experience with Tandemz… I noticed there weren’t many tests available. This varies depending on where you live, but compared to other testing platforms, the opportunities seemed limited.

This makes sense because Tandemz isn’t as widely known as some other testing websites. Fewer companies using their service means fewer chances for us to test things.

Alternative earning options:

  • CashYeah – Rewards platform available in over 40 countries with PayPal payments
  • GG2U – Earn actual money through gaming, surveys, video watching and app downloads, plus welcome rewards

How will you get your money from website testing?

Money hits your account pretty quickly after each test you complete. I did some testing myself, and here’s what you should know…

When someone invites you to test a website, they’ll tell you upfront what you’ll earn. You might get gift cards, special discount codes, or actual cash money. For cash payments, they usually send it through PayPal.

Once you finish testing and Tandemz checks your work, they’ll send your payment straight to your email. You don’t need to wait until you earn a certain amount – each payment comes separately, which works out well.

Most payments show up within a few hours of finishing your test. I’d say that’s much better than waiting around for days or weeks! The whole payment setup just makes sense – you test something, they check it, and you get paid. Simple as that.

Interested in another quick-paying option? I actually tried out the Pawns app myself. You might want to look at my detailed review where I share exactly what happened when I used it (including actual payment proof).

What can you actually earn on Tandemz?

Well, you see, the money you can make from Tandemz isn’t fixed. It all comes down to the number of studies you sign up for. Just between us though, I’ve noticed there aren’t many studies available at any given time, so don’t expect a steady flow of income.

And about the payment per study… it’s a bit unpredictable. Each study pays differently based on what you need to do and how long it takes. The good news? The rates match what other similar companies pay, so you won’t get shortchanged for your time.

(Speaking from experience) Sadly, you probably won’t make much money from this website. There just aren’t enough opportunities to test things. I mean, you might get lucky and catch a study now and then, but… well, you can’t really count on it as a regular source of money.

Can anyone sign up for website testing on Tandemz?

You know what’s great about Tandemz? Anyone from anywhere in the world seems able to join in! I tried looking around their website and while they don’t list specific countries, it appears open to international users.

You can make money on Tandemz by choosing to be either a tester who evaluates websites and products, or a researcher who organizes the studies, with everything being possible both remotely and in-person
On Tandemz you can make money by testing websites and products either as a tester participating in studies or as a researcher organizing them.

Getting started is actually quite simple… You’ll need to fill out a quick form with just three things:

  • Your first name
  • Your last name
  • Your email address

After sending that in, there’s one more important step – completing your profile information. This part is absolutely necessary (I mean it!) because it helps match you with the right testing opportunities.

To test websites and products on Tandemz and get paid for it, you just need to fill out the sign-up form with your name and email address
Fill out the registration form with your name and email to become a Tandemz tester.

And then? Well, you just sit back and wait for study invitations to show up. They’ll send these straight to your email, or you can always check what’s available right on your dashboard. The system automatically finds studies that match what you told them in your profile.

How to access Tandemz from your phone?

You’ll need a computer for most tasks, but I should mention something important – while there’s no app to download, you can still check your account from your phone since the website works well on mobile devices.

I found this super useful when I wanted to quickly check for new studies… but there’s a catch.

Most of the paid opportunities actually require a computer to complete. Phone access mainly comes in handy when you’re filling out surveys.

So while you can use your phone to log in and manage your account, you’ll definitely want a computer nearby if you’re serious about participating in studies and earning consistently.

Need help with Tandemz?

You’ll find answers about the platform in the help section. It covers what you need to get started on Tandemz.

Can’t find what you’re looking for? No worries – reaching out to their team is pretty simple.

Just sign into your account and head over to your profile settings. From there, you’ll spot the Help Center link. Scroll down a bit and you’ll see two ways to reach the support team – you can either message them right away through chat or send them an email.

I’d say they do an okay job with member support. Having both chat and email options is actually quite helpful when you need assistance.

One thing though… their help section could definitely use more information. That would save people from having to contact support as often as they do now.

Tandemz TrustPilot real user reviews

Since Tandemz is still new, we don’t have many reviews to look at right now. On TrustPilot, it sits at a 3.6 rating with just 6 user reviews (giving it an “Average” rating), so it’s hard to get a solid read on what people actually think about their services. I wouldn’t say it’s anything spectacular based on these numbers… but you know what? As time goes on, we’ll definitely see more people sharing their experiences.

I mean, six reviews isn’t much to go on, and that 3.6 score leaves us wondering what’s really going on. You’d want to see way more feedback before making up your mind about whether their services are worth your time or not.

Is Tandemz Legit or a Scam?

After spending quite a bit of time testing out Tandemz, I can tell you what’s up with this website.

Yes, Tandemz is 100% legitimate – you actually get paid for participating in their research studies.

Look, I’ll be honest with you… while they do pay reliably and quickly, I wouldn’t exactly rush to sign up. Why? The opportunities to earn are pretty limited. You might wait around quite a while between available tests.

Right now, your time would be much better spent on some of the bigger user testing platforms. They simply offer way more chances to earn some money.
