But an app that pays you to watch drama videos? Never seen that before.
When I first heard about NiceDrama, I stared at the description for a few seconds. You watch short drama clips, you earn rewards. That’s it. No surveys between videos, no complex tasks. Just… watch and earn.
Seemed odd. Almost too straightforward (which usually means it isn’t).
So I installed it. Opened it up, went through the setup, and actually used it long enough to see how it works. Wanted to know if the rewards are real or just numbers that look good on screen but never materialize.
Took notes on what you can actually do, what the limitations are, and whether it’s worth the time you’d put in.

I opened the app, and the first screen showed me a grid of drama videos. Each one had a number next to it showing the maximum coins I could earn.
I picked one. It split into episodes, each around a minute and a half. When I hit play, a small Gift icon appeared at the bottom with a progress bar underneath. Every time that bar filled completely, I got 100 coins. The bar only moved forward when the video was actually playing.
At 500 coins, I had to tap “claim” before earning more. The app auto-played the next episode once the current one ended, so the bar kept filling without me doing anything.
Then the pop-ups started. Every 20 seconds or so, an ad covered my screen. The video kept playing in the background (the progress bar kept moving), but I couldn’t see what was happening in the drama. I had to close each ad manually if I wanted to watch.
This happened constantly. I’d close one ad, watch for maybe 15 seconds, then another one would appear. After the fifth or sixth interruption, I stopped trying to follow the story. Just closed the ads mechanically and let the coins accumulate.
The dramas themselves looked AI-generated. Unknown actors, stories that seemed interesting at first glance. But with ads blocking my view every few seconds, I couldn’t tell you what any of them were actually about. Can’t focus on a plot when you’re constantly tapping X to close pop-ups.
There are plenty of dramas to choose from. You won’t run out of content to watch. Whether you’ll actually enjoy watching them is another question.
One weird thing: the app won’t tell you when you’ve reached the maximum reward for a drama. You just keep going until the coins stop, I guess. Didn’t reach that point myself (got tired of the ads first).

Collect Coin Every 3 Minutes
When I opened the app, there was a treasure chest sitting right on the screen. “Claim 500 coins” written underneath it. I tapped it.
Immediately, it asked if I wanted to watch a video for more coins. I said no. Not sitting through an ad for what’s probably another 200 coins (didn’t check, just closed it). The free 500 showed up in my account, and a timer appeared. Three minutes until I could do it again.
I waited. Watched the countdown. At zero, I tapped the chest again. Same offer, same process. Claimed another 500, declined the video again, timer reset.
You can do this over and over. The app doesn’t stop you. But here’s what actually happens: you get bored. Three minutes feels short until you’re staring at your phone waiting for it. You open another app, forget to come back, or just decide 500 coins isn’t worth setting a mental timer every three minutes.
I tried it a few times. Got maybe 2,000 coins before I realized I was checking the app just to click a button. Felt ridiculous.
If you’re already using the app for something else and notice the timer’s done, sure, claim it. Free coins without effort. But planning your routine around this? Not realistic. You’ll forget, or you’ll stop caring.
The feature works. The question is whether you’ll actually use it the way it’s designed.
Daily Check-In Rewards
You log in once a day, collect your coins. First day gives you 200. Next day gives you more. Goes up for seven days straight, then resets back to day one.
I tested this. After logging in seven days in a row, I collected 4,900 coins total. Sounds okay until you realize that’s barely anything when you look at what things actually cost in the app.
You have to remember to log in every single day without skipping. Miss one day, you’re back to square one. That wore me down pretty quick.
I still use platforms like EarnStar and Earnapp. They give you more ways to earn, more options to pick from. This daily check-in thing feels limited in comparison. You’re locked into one action, once a day, same routine.
If you like simple and you’re already using the app anyway, sure, grab the coins. But don’t count on this to carry your earnings.
How do people get paid?
You earn coins, they convert to cash every three hours.
Except NiceDrama doesn’t show you the conversion rate anywhere. You collect coins, wait three hours, and see what you got.
I had 5,800 coins. They became $0.01. So if I’m doing the math right, you need over 500,000 coins to reach $1. For context, watching one drama episode gave me maybe a few hundred coins (can’t remember the exact number, but it wasn’t much).
Then I saw other people comparing numbers. Someone had 62,000 coins and got $0.10. Different rate entirely. The conversion changes. You won’t know what your coins are worth until the app decides to convert them.
You can’t plan around that. Can’t estimate how close you are to cashing out. Just wait and hope the rate doesn’t drop when your coins convert.
Withdrawal is through PayPal. The threshold is $0.05, which seems low until you realize how long it takes to collect enough coins at these conversion rates. Even that tiny amount requires patience.
PayPal is convenient, I’ll give them that. But the conversion system makes no sense. Why hide the rate? Why change it? You’re earning something, but you don’t know what it’s worth until after the fact.
How Much Can You Earn with NiceDrama app?
You won’t make much here. The coins add up fast, but they convert to almost nothing.
I joined and got 3,000 coins right away. Looked good until I checked what that meant in actual money – less than a cent. Not even one full cent.
The app has mini-games and bonuses everywhere. They all give you more coins. None of it changes how little you actually earn.
What bothers me is how it’s designed. Big numbers flash on screen every time you do something. Feels like you’re making progress. Then you convert it and realize you’ve been collecting fractions of pennies.
Most video-watching apps work like this. The coins disguise how little they actually pay. By the time you notice, you’ve already spent hours tapping through tasks.
How to Get Support on NiceDrama
Looked everywhere for a Help section. Nothing there.
No FAQ, no troubleshooting guide, no list of common questions. If you need to know something, you contact support directly. That’s your only option.
They do give you two ways to reach them. You can go to the Feedback section in the app and type out whatever you’re confused about. Or send an email to [email protected]. So at least you can ask.
Most apps have a basic FAQ page that covers the obvious stuff. How coins convert to cash. What happens if a video won’t load. Simple things people actually want to know without waiting for someone to reply.
Instead, you’re stuck sending messages and hoping they get back to you. It works, but it wastes time when a short list of answers would solve most questions before you even have to ask them.
Can You Join NiceDrama?
NiceDrama doesn’t seem to block anyone by location. I downloaded it, opened it, signed in. Worked fine.
The app wants you to link your Google account. Makes sense. If you switch phones or delete the app by accident, you’d want a way back in. I saw the option in settings, clicked it, waited for the usual “account connected” confirmation.
Nothing happened.
Backed out, tried again. Same silence. No error message, no loading wheel, no “try again later” prompt. Just sat there like I hadn’t clicked anything. Can’t tell if this was temporary or if the feature never worked to begin with (probably should have checked forums, didn’t think of it at the time).
Without account linking, your earnings stay locked to one device. Delete the app, lose everything. Switch phones, start over. No recovery option, no backup, no safety net.
I’ve seen this setup before on smaller apps. Usually means the developer either hasn’t built cloud sync yet or doesn’t plan to. Either way, you’re gambling that nothing goes wrong with your device. Drop your phone, battery dies permanently, factory reset by mistake – your balance disappears.

Can You Use It On Your Desktop?
NiceDrama works only on mobile. No desktop option.
You’ll need either an Android or iOS device. Well, actually – just iOS now. The app disappeared from the Play Store. Still available on the App Store, but Android users can’t get it anymore.
I don’t know if this is permanent. Could be temporary, could be a removal. No official word on why. If you have an iPhone, you can download it. If you’re on Android, you’re out of luck for now.

The app itself feels spammy. Notifications keep popping up, and the coin conversion rate? They never explain it clearly. I kept trying to calculate what I was actually earning per video, but the numbers stayed foggy. When an app won’t tell you straight up how much you’re making, that’s usually a sign to walk away.
